The Buckeyes offered a scholarship to Duncanville (Texas) defensive end Omari Abor in late October of 2021. It was an offer Abor told Bucknuts he was very excited about. It was a long recruitment with a lot of twists and turns, but in the end Abor committed to Ohio State and eventually signed with the Buckeyes. Almost a year later the Buckeyes have gone back to the well so to speak. They have offered a scholarship to elite Duncanville 2024 defensive end Colin Simmons. Simmons posted the Ohio State offer on his Twitter account this evening.
