Oak Ridge City Council will be interviewing the six candidates for city manager July 17 and 18. The candidates will be interviewed via Zoom online software. The interviews are scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. Council and anyone wishing to attend the work sessions - which are open to the public - will meet in the Municipal Building training room. On Monday night, council will interview: Brian J. Borne, Gastonia, North Carolina. He was most recently the city manager for Monroe, North Carolina.
