Since the Texas high school football regular season has just about reached its midpoint, it's time to check in on how some of the Dallas-area's top 100 recruits in the Class of 2024 have performed through Week 5. All seven of the quarterbacks on The Dallas Morning News top 100 recruits list rank among the top 20 Dallas-area passers in their respective classifications. Six of the 15 top wide receivers rank in the top 20 in their respective classifications. Two of the seven running backs on the list rank among the top 20 rushers in their respective classifications.
