A pair of blockbuster commitments took place Thursday afternoon on Duncanville 's first day of school. Duncanville seniors Colin Simmons and Caden Durham — two of the top recruits in the Dallas area — both made it known where they will be heading to college. Simmons chose the University of Texas, while Durham will be heading to LSU. Simmons is the No. 1 player in the Dallas area and the state and the eighth-ranked player in the nation. The five-star defensive lineman held 45 college offers and selected Texas over his other two finalists, Miami and LSU.
