Oak Ridge Council to choose finalists for city manager Finalists will come to Oak Ridge for in-person interviews The Oak Ridge City Council will pick the finalists for city manager Aug. 2. The public meeting is set for 6 p.m. in the Municipal Building courtroom at 200 S. Tulane Ave. The council interviewed six candidates via Zoom for 45 minutes each on July 17 and 18. On Aug. 2, council members will narrow the list of those six candidates. They will also schedule two days for the finalists to come to Oak Ridge for in-person interviews with the council, meetings with the heads of city departments and one or two meetings with the public.
