DUNCANVILLE — Ron Holland's next trip to Texas will be for business. Holland, a Duncanville graduate, is a professional basketball player with the NBA-affiliated G-League Ignite. That itself is a whole heck of a lot to process considering, just five months ago, he played high school basketball in the same gym he stood in Friday. More on that shortly. He'll return to North Texas at some point with Ignite to play the Texas Legends, the Dallas Mavericks ' G-League Affiliate. After that, it'll be as an NBA player to play with or against the Mavericks.
