With nationally ranked Duncanville, 2016 state champion DeSoto and three-time state champion Cedar Hill, District 11-6A has been labeled the 'District of Doom.' Waxahachie football coach Shane Tolleson has a different name for it. 'I tell my kids this is the SEC of high school football,' he said. 'In my opinion, it is the most competitive, most talented district in the state of Texas, and matter of fact, probably in the country.' Waxahachie (3-0) is one of three undefeated teams in 11-6A — Duncanville (2-0) and Mansfield (3-0) are the others — going into Friday's district opener against Cedar Hill at 7 p.
